William “Bill” Beckert

Personal Injury Lawyer Serving Clients Throughout Connecticut

William “Bill” Beckert, one of our founding attorneys at Jainchill & Beckert, LLC, often hears the same question from his clients and peers: “Why did you become a lawyer?”

It goes back to high school, when a civics teacher saw that he loved debating others, typically taking the harder side of the argument. From that early interest, he has built his career by standing up for those who deserve to be treated fairly.

“That is why I love being a lawyer,” Bill says.

Over 25 Years of Connecticut Courtroom Experience

Bill earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in 1989, and his Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law in 1993. Over his decades-long legal career, he has represented people and businesses in courts throughout Connecticut.

Today, he focuses his practice exclusively on helping injury victims and their families to move ahead after someone else’s negligence upends their lives.

“It’s incredibly rewarding,” Bill says. “I help them get back on their feet again. I help people become whole again.”

Helping Injured Clients Move Forward

Bill knows how an injury can affect every part of a person’s life. He wants his clients to understand their rights and pursue the maximum compensation available to them. He works with clients in a range of cases, including:

Bill has a broad legal background, including experience in probate, insurance, real estate, and business law. With that background, he can see how different legal issues affect personal injury claims and give practical advice on insurance disputes, property concerns, business questions, and other related issues.

A Record of Results

Bill and our legal team at Jainchill & Beckert, LLC, prepare every case with care. Our results reflect our years of helping injured people after motor vehicle crashes, unsafe property incidents, dog bites, and other life-changing situations, including:

  • $1.3 million for a client injured in a motor vehicle crash
  • $1.2 million for a client hurt because of unsafe property conditions
  • $600,000 for a client injured in a dog bite case

No result can predict what will happen in another case. Every case depends on its unique facts and circumstances. We believe our record shows our experience and our firm’s commitment to seeking full and fair compensation for our clients.

What Clients Can Expect When Working with Bill

Bill’s goal is to make the personal injury legal process as stress-free as possible for our clients. He takes the time to listen to our clients, ask questions, learn what happened, and understand what the case means to them.

From there, he explains the risks, options, and next steps in plain language. Some cases settle. Others require a fight in court. Either way, Bill keeps our clients updated and involved while moving their cases forward with care and purpose.

In every case, the focus of Bill and our legal team is on providing our clients with clear communication, steady guidance, and practical help during stressful times. As our former clients share

“Great experience. I have referred back to them many times. They are awesome attorneys and will help you get what’s fair for your situation.”

“Attorney Beckert and Jeannette went above and beyond. They not only met expectations, but exceeded them.”
